Websites hit by server crash
Monday, October 02 2006

2000 customers of Demon UK, which hosts thousands of commercial websites and has 100,000 customers, are affected by the server crash which took place last thursday. Some major websites are already down for days. Among the victims of this crash is Undiscovered Scotland. According to Ken Lussey from Undiscovered Scotland the whole server has gone up in smoke.
Services are expected to be restored on Tuesday. Undiscovered Scotland is busy uploading their website to a new hosting provider which will hopefully result in a fast uptime. When the upload is ready Undiscovered Scotland will be available under a new domain name www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk for the time being.
