AMEC / Lewis Wind Power Ltd. have recently applied for planning permission to erect the largest onshore wind farm in the world...
consisting of 234 turbines, each of them 140 metres (450 feet) high, in North Lewis, stretching from west of Stornoway and running parallel with the main road right up into Ness. Please use the link below to sign my guestbook and protest against this wind farm
